Leaving A Legacy
You can leave a legacy through a simple codicil to your will. If you do not currently have a will we will provide you information on how to prepare a will.
You can leave a gift of cash, stocks, bonds, or other securities today or in your will
You can name the Foundation as a beneficiary of a retirement asset or life insurance policy.
You can donate inherited assets or real estate.
You can establish a trust to provide greater income and tax benefits for you today as well as leave a gift to the church.
You can create an endowment fund in memory or honor of a loved one.
Gift Designation
Undesignated Non-Endowment Fund
As a matter of Foundation policy donors will be asked to give to the Undesignated Non-Endowment Fund. This fund best supports the needs of the Grayson UMC and allows the unrestricted allocation of funds to meet the critical needs of Church ministries. However, if the donor would like their gift used to support a specific ministry within the Church the following accounts are available for that purpose:
• Children and Family Ministry
• Middle and High School Student Ministries
• Recreation Ministry
• Preschool Ministry
• Worship Ministry
• Facilities Ministry
• Missions
